Base Salary
$170k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain robust applications and APIs using Java and Python.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices and integrate third-party APIs and services.
- Manage data storage and retrieval using SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and MySQL.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and QA teams to define requirements and integrate components.
- Optimize system performance, troubleshoot issues, and apply security best practices for data handling and API authentication.
- Integrate cloud services and APIs for cloud-native solutions and deployments when applicable.
- Provide ongoing support, maintenance, and enhancements for existing applications and APIs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience.
- Active Secret security clearance or higher, with the ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI with CI Poly.
- Proficiency in Java and/or Python and associated frameworks such as Spring Boot, Flask, and Django.
- Strong understanding of REST, GraphQL, and SOAP API architectural styles and experience with Postman and Swagger UI.
- Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL database systems.
- Experience with Git version control.
- Experience with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of Agile and Scrum software development methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- U.S. citizenship is required; certain duties may also require U.S. person status under export-control laws.
