Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, deploy, and maintain cloud-native applications, APIs, data services, and enterprise solutions.
- Serve as the senior technical lead for software and database development supporting cloud modernization and AI-enabled services.
- Architect and develop microservices, serverless, and containerized applications.
- Build and maintain Databricks solutions using Delta Lake, Workflows, Structured Streaming, SQL Warehouses, and Unity Catalog.
- Develop and optimize enterprise data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, analytics, machine learning, and reporting.
- Design and maintain relational and NoSQL databases and optimize performance, queries, indexing, and storage.
- Implement AWS cloud solutions, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, infrastructure automation, and deployment workflows.
- Develop secure integrations and support AI, machine learning, MLOps, and agentic AI capabilities.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, developers, federal stakeholders, and cybersecurity teams on requirements and solution designs.
- Support application modernization, operational monitoring, incident response, troubleshooting, compliance, documentation, mentoring, and knowledge transfer.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information systems, software engineering, data engineering, computer engineering, or a related discipline, with 15 years of relevant experience accepted in lieu of a degree.
- At least seven years of experience in software development, database engineering, full-stack development, or cloud engineering in enterprise environments.
- Experience with Python, SQL, Spark, cloud-native applications, APIs, microservices, Databricks, AWS, relational and NoSQL databases, CI/CD, Git-based workflows, automated testing, and deployment automation.
- Hands-on Databricks experience with Workflows, Delta Lake, Structured Streaming, SQL Warehouses, and Unity Catalog.
- Experience supporting application modernization, system integration, secure software development, AI/ML, MLOps, AI engineering, or agentic AI initiatives.
- At least one Databricks certification and one AWS certification are required.
- Preferred qualifications include DHS or CISA program experience, DaaS and cloud analytics experience, AI/ML DevSecOps, MLOps, containerization, infrastructure as code, and relevant security or cloud certifications.
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a DHS Suitability determination, Public Trust, Secret, or higher clearance are required.
