Base Salary
$170k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain robust applications and APIs using Java and Python.
- Design and implement APIs and microservices and integrate third-party APIs and services.
- Manage data storage and retrieval using SQL and NoSQL database systems, including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and MySQL.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, QA teams, and other cross-functional partners.
- Optimize application and system performance, troubleshoot issues, and apply secure data-handling and API-authentication practices.
- Integrate cloud services and APIs when applicable and provide ongoing support and enhancements for existing systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience.
- Active Secret clearance or higher, with the ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI with CI Poly; U.S. citizenship is required.
- Proficiency in Java and/or Python and associated frameworks such as Spring Boot, Flask, and Django.
- Strong understanding of API architectural styles and experience with API development tools such as Postman and Swagger UI.
- Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases, Git, cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Ability to solve problems and work independently and collaboratively.
