Responsibilities
- Build and ship cross-platform mobile features in React Native for iOS and Android, with attention to performance and user experience.
- Contribute to the design, implementation, and deployment of mobile application features.
- Evaluate components, libraries, and patterns for maintainability and long-term technical quality.
- Write clean, testable, and documented code, including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Participate in code reviews and improve mobile development, testing, and release processes.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and senior mobile developers while taking increasing ownership of assigned work.
Requirements
- College or university degree in software development, computer science, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of experience building and shipping mobile applications, including hands-on React Native experience.
- Experience implementing maintainable and performant mobile architecture and features.
- Experience with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines for mobile delivery.
- Experience building responsive cross-platform user interfaces for iOS, Android, and web with React Native.
- Working knowledge of iOS and Android conventions, mobile build and release processes, and debugging.
- Understanding of mobile performance optimization, secure coding fundamentals, and accessibility best practices.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills in an agile, cross-functional environment.
- Fluency in English; French is an asset.
