Responsibilities

  • Design, code, test, debug, and maintain complex iOS software, spending 80% or more of the time coding.
  • Provide technical leadership through code reviews, mentoring, coaching, role-modelling, and knowledge-sharing.
  • Lead technical innovation in component reuse, extensibility, maintainability, and scalability.
  • Monitor applications in production and proactively resolve client-facing issues.
  • Contribute to the product-wide technical roadmap and cross-team technology initiatives.
  • Participate in a support queue rotation for team software.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners and designers to define and deliver features meeting client needs.
  • Plan and execute end-to-end automated tests and help improve testing practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in computer engineering, computer science, or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience with a deep background in iOS development.
  • Experience managing complex, enterprise-level, multi-screen iOS applications for a large non-technical user base.
  • Awareness of contemporary technology trends, design patterns, software development tooling, and development practices.
  • Experience making difficult technical decisions in ambiguous situations.
  • Strong written and spoken English communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile and test automation is preferred.
  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English.
