Responsibilities
- Influence the product roadmap and contribute to career and project objectives.
- Deliver mobile features from ideation through production operations and iterative improvement.
- Design, build, operate, and maintain Grafana’s mobile application.
- Own the application’s reliability, performance, and availability and participate in on-call rotations.
- Integrate mobile functionality with backend APIs and cloud services.
- Build, test, and ship updates to the App Store and Google Play.
- Mentor teammates, participate in design discussions, and collaborate across mobile, frontend, and backend squads.
- Contribute to open-source projects and develop a deeper understanding of Grafana’s cloud product, customers, and distributed system codebase.
Requirements
- Experience with at least one native mobile platform, Android or iOS.
- Strong experience building production Flutter applications, including state management, navigation, asynchronous programming, and maintainable architecture.
- Experience taking mobile features from requirements clarification through implementation, testing, release, and production support.
- Experience integrating mobile applications with backend APIs and cloud services.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and performant code.
- Customer focus, self-directed execution, pragmatism, collaboration, and strong communication skills.
- Bonus: experience with Grafana and Prometheus, microservices and distributed systems, on-call or SRE operations, infrastructure as code, or open-source projects.
