Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance enterprise-scale web applications and microservices using the specified Java and Angular technology stack.
- Analyze business and system requirements, identify enhancements, recommend solutions, and implement application changes.
- Design and work with RESTful APIs, SOA-based systems, cloud deployments, and distributed application environments.
- Conduct testing and debugging, including test-driven development, and troubleshoot application and systems issues.
- Optimize software solutions for performance, stability, reliability, timeliness, and quality.
- Apply authentication, authorization, security, risk management, and compliance considerations to application development.
- Review outputs, guide execution where needed, address delivery gaps, and remain accountable for quality and timelines.
- Support business decisions by translating direction into actionable steps and independently resolving non-routine technical situations.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of professional full-stack software engineering experience developing enterprise-scale applications.
- Expertise with Java, Angular, Spring Boot, Hibernate, OpenShift, Redis, Nginx, Apigee, API gateways, and MongoDB or PostgreSQL.
- Strong understanding of SOA concepts, RESTful API design, object-oriented programming, programming languages, and web frameworks.
- Knowledge of cloud computing, deployment strategies, and virtual environments.
- Knowledge of Agile methodology, Git, and release management.
- Knowledge of Kafka and cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, and GCP is preferred.
- Familiarity with Spring Data JPA, Spring Batch, Elasticsearch, MongoDB databases, and caching solutions.
- Expertise in systems analysis, troubleshooting, problem solving, test-driven development, authentication, authorization, and security.
- Experience designing and optimizing software for performance and stability and architecting solutions using current technologies.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to work independently and in a team, adapt to a rapidly changing environment, and exercise sound professional judgment.
