Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, operate, and maintain software products.
- Take full-stack ownership by writing production-ready and testable code.
- Create scalable, reliable, and performant technical designs aligned with architectural best practices.
- Analyze failures, propose design changes, and drive operational improvements.
- Conduct code reviews and provide guidance on engineering best practices and development procedures.
- Ensure product development follows compliance and security best practices.
- Apply software reliability engineering standards throughout development.
- Collaborate with product teams and communicate blockers, priorities, processes, and results.
- Mentor and support junior engineers and contribute to technical strategy and innovation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Twelve or more years of experience.
- Technical expertise and leadership skills to resolve issues and meet product goals.
- Proficiency with algorithms, data structures, architectural design patterns, and software engineering best practices.
- Understanding of the team's domain, business strategy, and technical strategy.
- Ability to define and fulfill solutions requirements for end users.
- Ability to collaborate across product development with engineers, product owners, scrum masters, third-party vendors, and customers.
- Effective communication, presentation, leadership, problem-solving, analytical, collaboration, and influencing skills.
- Familiarity with the agile software development lifecycle and DevOps principles.
