Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of scalable Java and Spring Boot software solutions.
- Architect cloud-native enterprise applications on AWS and Azure using microservices and domain-driven design.
- Deliver full-stack solutions with modern ReactJS user interfaces.
- Integrate AI and machine learning technologies into products and business solutions.
- Establish code quality, documentation, technical design, scalability, reliability, and performance practices.
- Mentor engineers and promote technical knowledge sharing and growth.
- Apply security, DevOps, banking regulation, KYC, and AML compliance standards throughout the development lifecycle.
- Evaluate and adopt emerging cloud and AI technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 10 years of progressive hands-on software engineering experience focused on Java, Spring Boot, API development, application design, and cloud deployment.
- 8+ years leading and architecting highly available Java enterprise applications using Spring Core, Spring MVC, and Spring Boot.
- Experience with Kafka, GraphQL, web services, relational databases, and Cassandra.
- 8+ years designing API-first strategies using domain-driven design and microservices architecture.
- At least 5 years of hands-on cloud-native application development, migration, modernization, and optimization on AWS and Azure.
- Experience with ReactJS or similar frameworks, cloud security, logging, monitoring, AI, and machine learning services.
- Extensive DevOps experience across on-premises and public-cloud environments, including Git/GitHub, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Strong banking-domain experience designing KYC and AML solutions and complying with financial regulations.
- Experience with Drools and .NET C# is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, including the ability to drive technical vision and mentor engineering talent.
