Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of scalable software solutions using Java and Spring Boot.
- Architect and implement cloud-native enterprise applications on AWS and Azure using microservices and domain-driven design.
- Integrate AI and machine learning technologies into products and business solutions.
- Deliver full-stack solutions, including modern user interfaces with ReactJS.
- Establish standards for code quality, documentation, technical design, scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Mentor engineers and promote knowledge sharing and technical development.
- Champion compliance, security, and DevOps standards using Git/GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Design secure banking solutions aligned with KYC/AML requirements and financial regulations.
- Evaluate and integrate emerging cloud and AI technologies to support the organization’s technology vision.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 10 years of progressive hands-on software engineering experience focused on Java, Spring Boot, API development, application design, and cloud deployment.
- At least 8 years leading and architecting highly available Java enterprise applications using Spring Core, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, and related technologies.
- Experience with Kafka, GraphQL, web services, relational databases, and Cassandra.
- At least 8 years designing API-first strategies with domain-driven design and microservices architecture.
- At least 5 years of hands-on cloud-native application development, migration, modernization, and optimization across AWS and Azure.
- Experience with ReactJS or similar UI frameworks.
- Knowledge of security, logging, and monitoring for large-scale cloud solutions.
- Experience integrating AI technologies and machine learning services.
- Extensive DevOps experience across on-premises and public-cloud environments, including Git/GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Strong banking-domain experience designing and developing KYC and AML solutions and complying with financial regulations.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, including the ability to drive technical vision and mentor engineering talent.
- Familiarity with Drools and proficiency in .NET C# environments are highly desirable.
