Responsibilities
- Write product or system development code.
- Review other developers’ code and provide feedback on style, correctness, testability, efficiency, and best practices.
- Contribute to and update documentation or educational content based on product updates and user feedback.
- Triage, debug, track, and resolve product or system issues affecting hardware, networks, services, and quality.
- Develop schedulers and queueing systems that run jobs on real vendor hardware.
- Integrate the infrastructure with reservation portals, GitHub, business intelligence platforms, and internal dashboards.
- Support internal teams using the infrastructure.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Two years of software development experience, or one year of industry experience with an advanced degree.
- Two years of experience developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture.
- Experience with networking protocols.
- Experience developing in C++.
- Preferred: master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: two years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: experience developing accessible technologies and building and shipping systems from scratch.
- Preferred: proficiency in system design and architecture, with openness to learning networking protocols and technology.
