Base Salary
$140k - $164k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and administer Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Teams.
- Administer and harden Entra ID, including conditional access and role-based access control.
- Own Exchange Online configuration and troubleshoot mail delivery issues.
- Use Kusto Query Language (KQL) to investigate incidents and develop detection queries.
- Collaborate with security teams to implement security baselines and auditing.
- Develop automation scripts using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph API.
- Contribute to CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code practices for Microsoft 365.
- Work with containerized workloads integrating with M365/Entra.
- Lead incident response and root-cause analysis for outages or security events.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation and architectural diagrams.
- Mentor junior administrators on best practices and operational excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with at least 9 years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree with at least 7 years, or 15 years of relevant experience.
- At least 5 years of hands-on administration experience with Microsoft 365 and Entra ID.
- Effective communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Expert-level experience with Exchange Online and mail flow troubleshooting.
- Strong experience using KQL in Microsoft 365 Defender or similar tools.
- Deep understanding of identity and access concepts like SSO and MFA.
- Proficiency with PowerShell for automation and configuration management.
- Solid knowledge of security and compliance capabilities in M365.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps or GitHub for managing scripts and pipelines.
- Exposure to container platforms and their integration with Entra ID.
- Experience with Microsoft Graph API and Microsoft Sentinel is preferred.
