Responsibilities
- Manage, automate, secure, scale, and evolve development, staging, and production infrastructure.
- Develop playbooks and scripts to automate operations, deployments, and environment provisioning.
- Provide application-level technical support, including database backup and restoration and application/module installation.
- Optimize infrastructure architectures and collaborate with development teams on technical solutions.
- Coordinate technical changes with hosting providers across multiple continents.
- Diagnose and resolve production incidents and implement durable solutions.
- Use AI tools to improve support, performance analysis, and infrastructure-as-code optimization.
- Document operational procedures and best practices and maintain ongoing technology and security monitoring.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as a DevOps administrator.
- Professional experience as a software developer.
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker.
- Experience administering Linux systems, particularly Debian environments.
- Experience with Terraform and Helm.
- Experience with Datadog or an equivalent APM tool.
- Knowledge of Prometheus and Grafana for monitoring.
- Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform or an equivalent cloud platform.
- Fluent conversational English and strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to take ownership and lead projects.
