Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to understand requirements and design software solutions.
- Design, develop, and release web and mobile applications.
- Develop presentation-layer applications using APIs and microservices architecture.
- Build unit and automation test scripts within the software development lifecycle.
- Contribute to coding best practices, code merges, and releases.
- Perform other assigned duties and comply with organizational policies and standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Typically 5+ years of hands-on object-oriented programming experience with Java or Python and/or JavaScript UI frameworks.
- Experience with Angular or React.
- Experience with microservices architecture and end-to-end UI/API integration.
- Knowledge of REST, gRPC, and GraphQL API protocols.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle, coding practices, and testing practices.
- Knowledge of caching technologies and database management systems including Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Ability to understand complex business problems and design high-quality technical solutions.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
