Responsibilities
- Translate user stories and acceptance criteria into Salesforce technical solutions.
- Lead hands-on Salesforce development and deliver scalable, high-quality applications.
- Mentor junior developers and promote coding, testing, deployment, and quality best practices.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, QA, UK business teams, and technology stakeholders on releases and technical updates.
- Own production issues and resolve them within service-level agreements.
- Liaise with Salesforce regarding technical issues and product capabilities.
- Develop proofs of concept for new features and integrations.
- Track delivery timeliness, production incidents, SLA adherence, code quality, team development, and stakeholder satisfaction.
Requirements
- 4–7 years of Salesforce development experience, including 2+ years in a senior developer role.
- Strong hands-on experience with Apex, Apex Test Classes, Visualforce Pages, Lightning Web Components, Aura Components, Flows, Triggers, and Custom Objects.
- Experience with Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and AppExchange applications.
- Knowledge of integration patterns, APIs, REST, web services, and third-party Salesforce integrations.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle practices and Agile delivery practices.
- Current Salesforce Platform Developer I certification is mandatory.
- Salesforce Platform Developer II and Salesforce Administrator certifications are preferred; Service Cloud Consultant certification is nice to have.
- Familiarity with Agentforce and AI-driven automation concepts is desirable.
- Experience with Copado, Gearset, AutoRABIT, GitHub, or Bitbucket is beneficial.
- Knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, and telephony integrations such as NICE CXone is beneficial.
- Exposure to AWS services, MuleSoft, and Tableau is beneficial.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
