Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain core C++ modules using a modular, dynamically loaded architecture.
  • Own features end to end, including requirements interpretation, design, implementation, unit and functional testing, and QA collaboration.
  • Enable new platforms and features across the product roadmap for Windows and Linux targets.
  • Integrate with low-level services and optimize performance, reliability, startup times, scanning, logging, and error handling.
  • Fix integration issues, address bottlenecks, and support automated pipelines and release quality.
  • Perform code reviews, enforce coding guidelines, improve test coverage, and improve CI reliability.
  • Collaborate with product management, QA, firmware/OS, and sustaining teams to clarify requirements and resolve issues.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of experience programming in C++ on Windows and Linux, including STL and Boost.
  • Proficiency with CMake or Makefiles and cross-platform build and debugging practices.
  • Experience designing, implementing, and testing complex features in large codebases, including unit, functional, and integration testing.
  • Strong debugging, performance-analysis, logging, tracing, core-dump, and production problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of computer system architecture and the ability to collaborate across engineering and QA teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Preferred experience with server-management utilities, datacenter tooling, UEFI/BIOS configuration, Redfish/REST, XML/JSON parsing, network file transfer, CI/CD, release processes, automated testing infrastructure, Electron, Node, or Vue.
