Responsibilities

Own end-to-end data and AI workstreams for enterprise customer deployments, from data discovery and architecture design to production-grade pipelines.
Engage customer data, IT, and sustainability teams to design scalable integration and modeling solutions.
Build and deploy AI-powered pipelines for supplier emissions collection, product carbon footprint calculations, spend-based estimation, and Scope 3 data quality.
Develop and fine-tune machine learning models and LLM-based workflows for emissions data coverage, accuracy, and inference.
Integrate carbmee EIS™ with ERP systems, especially SAP, procurement platforms, and third-party data sources.
Transform and prepare complex enterprise datasets and communicate model outputs and analyses to executive stakeholders.
Feed customer deployment learnings back to carbmee’s product engineering team.

Strong foundation in Python, SQL, cloud platforms, ETL pipelines, and data modeling.
Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Data Science, or a comparable quantitative field from a top technical university with an outstanding academic record.
Production experience with machine learning, LLMs, or applied AI.
Ability to work with messy enterprise data and collaborate with engineering teams and non-technical stakeholders.
Understanding of ERP systems, especially SAP, is a strong plus.
Fluency in English and German.
