Base Salary

$144k - $194k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement secure authentication and authorization systems using bearer token schemes and session management protocols.
  • Build and maintain high-performance validation services with sub-10ms response-time requirements.
  • Develop intelligent authentication systems that balance security with user experience and reduce unnecessary re-authentication.
  • Implement token binding, risk evaluation, and fraud detection mechanisms.
  • Collaborate with security teams to detect and prevent account takeover attempts and cookie theft.
  • Manage token creation, validation, exchange, and invalidation across web, mobile, device, and Login with Amazon platforms.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
  • Experience debugging, profiling, and applying software engineering practices in large-scale systems.
  • Programming experience with at least one software programming language or non-internship professional software development experience.
  • Preferred: knowledge of authentication, authorization, single sign-on, cryptography, and related security concepts.
  • Preferred: experience with high-availability, distributed systems and services.
