Responsibilities
- Develop and implement new or revised application systems and programs using Java, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot.
- Design and build microservices-based and event-driven architectures using Kafka.
- Perform systems analysis, feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, application design, testing, implementation, and operational support.
- Develop and optimize databases using PL/SQL and support applications for business users.
- Monitor development phases, assess risks, recommend security measures, and ensure operating procedures and standards are followed.
- Consult with users and technology groups, provide advanced programming solutions, and assist with system installation and support.
- Serve as an advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts and act as a subject matter expert for stakeholders.
Requirements
- 8–12 years of relevant experience in systems analysis and software application programming.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Java, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot.
- Proven experience designing and building microservices-based architectures.
- Strong experience implementing Kafka for event-driven systems.
- Good knowledge of container technologies, specifically ECS.
- Strong proficiency in PL/SQL for database development and optimization.
- Solid experience working with Agile development methodologies.
- Practical experience using AI tools and crafting optimized prompts.
- Bachelor’s degree or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred experience managing and implementing successful projects and knowledge of consulting or project management techniques.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes.
