Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable distributed systems for AI agents, optimizing reliability, performance, and cost.
- Establish testing strategies, observability systems, and engineering practices that prevent customer-impacting issues.
- Own the technical roadmap and architectural decisions for the AI platform.
- Mentor engineers and lead technical initiatives across the engineering team.
- Debug production issues and improve system uptime and operational stability.
- Collaborate with ML engineers and researchers to productionize AI capabilities.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience building and operating distributed systems in production.
- Demonstrated success improving service reliability to 99.9% or higher uptime.
- Deep expertise in distributed systems, microservices, containerization with Kubernetes, and infrastructure as code.
- Experience leading technical initiatives and mentoring engineering teams.
- Strong coding skills with the ability to work across the stack.
- Strong production debugging and observability experience.
- Preferred experience with LLM applications, agent frameworks, or AI/ML infrastructure.
- Preferred familiarity with prompt engineering, RAG patterns, and vector databases.
- Preferred experience with multi-model AI systems including OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google.
