Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise, analysis, development, maintenance, and production support for Oracle Customer Care and Billing applications.
- Design, develop, test, debug, document, and implement application enhancements, integrations, and system improvements.
- Support complex projects by managing priorities, tracking risks and issues, communicating status, and developing contingency plans.
- Collaborate with business, architecture, operational, and development teams to define solutions aligned with organizational standards.
- Advocate for business needs throughout solution design, development, testing, and implementation.
- Support functional specifications, data deliverables, quality assurance testing, and transition-to-sustainment activities.
- Analyze complex technical problems and deliver practical technology solutions that improve business value and customer outcomes.
Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or a two-year technical diploma combined with relevant experience.
- At least six years of experience in IT application development.
- Strong expertise in Java development, Java Web Services, and enterprise application support.
- Advanced SQL development skills, including query optimization, and experience with Oracle databases.
- Knowledge of XML, data integration concepts, Linux operating systems, scripting, and Eclipse.
- Ability to perform as a subject matter expert, solve complex technical problems, work independently, and make effective decisions.
- Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, customer-focus, relationship-building, and stakeholder-influencing skills.
- Oracle CC&B experience and Java Server Pages experience are considered assets.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders and build trusted relationships.
