Base Salary
$140k - $160k/yr
Responsibilities
- Refactor Semantic Kernel plugins, planners, function calling, and memory into Microsoft Agent Framework agents and workflows.
- Rebuild the Python/Django orchestration layer while preserving API contracts, RBAC, and permissions.
- Maintain Azure AI Search and Azure OpenAI retrieval, reranking, prompt assembly, embedding, inference, and citation paths.
- Integrate Model Context Protocol tools and connectors into the Intelligence Layer channel.
- Deploy migrated microservices using OpenShift and containerization.
- Implement Arize Phoenix and OpenTelemetry observability, agent registration, and RAG quality and evaluation validation.
- Use GitHub pull-request workflows and support CI/CD, DevSecOps, vulnerability remediation, Redis Enterprise caching/session state, and Azure APIM gateway and rate-limiting capabilities.
Requirements
- Graduate in Computer Science.
- 8+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with Semantic Kernel and Microsoft Agent Framework, including refactoring SK plugins, planners, function calling, and memory.
- Experience with Python and Django for orchestration-layer development.
- Experience with Azure AI Services, Azure AI Search, Azure OpenAI, and RAG systems.
- Experience with Model Context Protocol, OpenShift, Arize Phoenix, OpenTelemetry, GitHub, Redis Enterprise, and Azure APIM.
