Base Salary
$100k - $140k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and support Java-based enterprise applications and microservices.
- Build and manage event-driven systems using Apache Kafka, including producers, consumers, topics, partitions, and schemas.
- Implement APIs and integrate applications with upstream and downstream systems.
- Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, scalability, and performance of Java and Kafka applications.
- Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and DevOps teams on solution delivery.
- Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues and solution development.
- Use databases, containerization, CI/CD pipelines, version control, and automated testing tools in software development.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of software development experience focused on Java/J2EE technologies.
- Strong hands-on Java and Apache Kafka experience, including event-driven application development.
- Experience developing microservices-based applications with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Hibernate.
- Experience writing queries for Oracle and MSSQL databases.
- Understanding of OCP, Docker, and Kubernetes containerization technologies.
- Experience with Git, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to lead technical teams.
- Preferred certifications in AWS, Azure, GCP, or Java technologies.
- Preferred experience with RabbitMQ, messaging systems, and event-driven architecture.
- Exposure to SAFe Agile and Scrum methodologies.
