Responsibilities
- Provide production support for applications and third-party vendor products, including incident resolution, proactive mitigation, change management, and problem management.
- Maintain compliance with agreed service-level agreements and requirements.
- Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure and cloud-hosted applications.
- Coordinate resources and stakeholders, plan milestones, assign responsibilities, monitor work, and communicate progress and status.
- Mentor and develop junior team members.
- Act as a subject matter expert and independently handle client issues and incident escalations.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of Application Support or TechOps experience.
- Knowledge of AWS, containerization, CI/CD, GitHub or GitLab, and cloud networking.
- Experience with Oracle, PL/SQL queries, Linux/Unix shell scripting, or Python.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing situations.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including some weekends and potentially public holidays.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
