Responsibilities
- Deliver highly complex software solutions involving significant system linkages, dependencies, and risk.
- Lead and perform analysis, design, coding, configuration, integration, testing, implementation, maintenance, and escalated support.
- Develop high-quality working software, write and run unit tests, and support integration and functional testing.
- Automate manual and reusable tasks and apply continuous engineering practices to deliver business value.
- Refine user stories and develop code according to Product Owner acceptance criteria.
- Provide technical consultation for challenging situations and recommend best practices.
- Provide warranty support, production-support knowledge transfer, and mentoring for less experienced teammates.
- Support banking and financial services applications, including Remote Deposit Capture, Wholesale Client Portal, Online Check Deposit, and related systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Six years of progressive experience in software engineering positions or IT consulting.
- Experience with requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and application deployment.
- Experience applying IT best practices, planning and managing projects, solving complex problems, and mentoring less experienced teammates.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps Continuous Deployment pipelines, Windows PowerShell scripting, GitLab CI/CD pipelines, RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, Microsoft .NET, C#, WPF, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, Web Forms, SSIS, SSRS, SOA Web Services, and Windows VB scripting.
- Ability to travel to Atlanta, Georgia regularly for meetings and project reviews, including with 24-hours’ notice.
