Base Salary
$160k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the AI agents and automation system, including conversational front ends and backend workflow automation.
- Shape prompt-engineering priorities and maintain scalable architecture for chatbots, voicebots, and computer-use agents.
- Build production automations for document validation, record disputes, and transaction orchestration with external insurance carrier systems.
- Evaluate emerging AI technologies and decide which capabilities to invest in and deploy.
- Partner with OpenAI to evaluate and deploy next-generation voice models and workflow automation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, ideally at an early-stage startup with end-to-end ownership.
- Strong builder mentality and ability to define and execute work independently.
- Experience rapidly evaluating new AI models and explaining architectural tradeoffs.
- Experience deploying LLM-based systems to production, including evaluations, regression handling, latency, cost, and failure handling.
