Base Salary
$160k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the architecture and development of Jerry.ai’s AI agents and automation system.
- Shape chatbot, voicebot, and computer-use agent capabilities while maintaining a scalable architecture.
- Build backend automations for document validation, record disputes, and transaction orchestration with external insurance carrier systems.
- Evaluate emerging AI technologies and decide which capabilities to invest in and deploy to production.
- Partner with OpenAI to evaluate and deploy next-generation voice models and workflow automation.
- Manage production concerns including evaluations, regressions, latency, cost, and failure handling.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience.
- Experience at an early-stage startup with end-to-end ownership of outcomes is preferred.
- Hands-on experience putting LLM-based systems into production.
- Ability to independently define specifications and build systems.
- Ability to evaluate new AI models and explain architectural tradeoffs.
