Base Salary
$160k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the architecture and development of Jerry.ai’s AI agents and automation system.
- Shape the conversational front end, including chatbots, voicebots, computer-use agents, and prompt-engineering direction.
- Build backend workflow automations for document validation, record disputes, and transaction orchestration with external insurance carrier systems.
- Evaluate emerging AI technologies, determine investment priorities, and build and ship solutions to production.
- Partner with OpenAI to evaluate and deploy next-generation voice models and workflow automation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, ideally in an early-stage startup with end-to-end ownership.
- Ability to build independently without requiring someone else to write the specification.
- Experience rapidly evaluating new AI models and explaining architectural tradeoffs.
- Experience putting LLM-based systems into production, including evaluations, regression handling, latency, cost, and failure handling.
