Responsibilities
- Build, develop, and implement Salesforce-based customer service technology for DTC self-service and assisted-service experiences.
- Design and develop scalable, highly available, performant, and high-quality Salesforce solutions supporting large-scale user activity.
- Use Apex, SOQL/SOSL, RESTful services, Lightning Web Components, Aura, Salesforce APIs, and integrations to implement platform capabilities.
- Facilitate business requirement discussions, advise stakeholders on technology tradeoffs, and provide implementation and customization options.
- Partner with internal and external teams to deliver backlog requests and projects through iterative release cycles.
- Champion Salesforce development best practices, coding guidelines, quality standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Prototype emerging Salesforce technologies and implement innovative solutions for viewer and advocate service experiences.
- Document technical decisions and maintain technical documentation.
- Conduct technical reviews, reduce technical debt, and troubleshoot complex Salesforce issues to maintain system stability and performance.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
- At least 2 years of experience architecting solutions on the Salesforce platform.
- At least 2 years of experience designing and developing on MuleSoft.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; computer science, information technology, or a related undergraduate degree is preferred.
- Deep expertise with Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Lightning Flows, Apex Triggers, SOQL/SOSL, Salesforce APIs, Lightning Web Components, and RESTful APIs.
- Experience building high-quality software, innovative features, Salesforce integrations, and technology transformation initiatives.
- Experience with Agile, test automation, and CI/CD/DevOps practices.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I and II certifications or other Developer Certifications.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration, prioritization, communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and work across organizational levels.
- Flexibility to work nights and weekends as needed.
- Preferred: 4 or more years developing Salesforce solutions, Salesforce GenAI tools, additional Salesforce certifications, Copado or other DevOps tools, NICE CXone, streaming or subscription-based services, and global or remote teams.
