Responsibilities
- Build and deploy end-to-end features across high-performance frontend UIs, streaming audio backend services, and AI inference integrations.
- Debug and resolve real-time communication issues involving latency spikes, transcript flicker, audio glitches, and unstable network environments.
- Prototype new features quickly and refactor them for scale in a 0-to-1 product environment.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Product Designers, and AI Researchers to shape and solve product and technical challenges.
- Optimize the conversational user experience and automate processes or improve unclear technical documentation when needed.
Requirements
- Demonstrated full-stack fluency with React and TypeScript on the frontend and Node.js/TypeScript or a strongly transferable backend language.
- Experience with real-time technologies such as WebRTC, WebSockets, streaming architectures, and latency-sensitive systems.
- A product-first, customer-focused mindset and comfort working autonomously in ambiguous 0-to-1 environments.
- Willingness to use AI-powered development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude for coding, testing, and debugging.
