Responsibilities
- Develop full-stack features using C#, .NET, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL.
- Write and optimize hand-crafted SQL queries for high performance.
- Design and implement event-driven workflows using Event Store.
- Enhance search and data projections with ElasticSearch.
- Modernize platform components to .NET 8+ and Svelte.js, including containerized deployments.
- Automate infrastructure with Pulumi and Azure DevOps.
- Participate in architecture discussions and code reviews while maintaining engineering best practices.
Requirements
- Strong experience with C#/.NET, including async/await, memory management, and resource handling.
- Deep knowledge of SQL Server, including query optimization, indexing, execution plans, and performance tuning.
- Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, Flexbox, and CSS Grid.
- At least 5 years of varied software engineering experience, ideally involving scalable systems.
- Experience with distributed systems, monoliths, or microservices.
- Preferred experience with ElasticSearch, Event Store, Neo4j, InfluxDB, Seq, Power BI, PetaPoco, and Azure.
- Strong grasp of clean code principles, object-oriented design, and software patterns.
- Open-source contributions or personal coding projects are advantageous.
