Responsibilities
- Develop and articulate technical direction for major initiatives.
- Design and oversee implementation of scalable, reliable, and compliant services.
- Identify and document technical risks in designs and implementations.
- Define, promote, and uphold engineering standards and practices.
- Ensure cohesive technical approaches across team boundaries.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, stakeholder engagement, and guidance on architecture and operational excellence.
Requirements
- Extensive experience driving engineering best practices and complex solution design for critical, high-scale applications.
- Strong technical leadership and the ability to guide high-level architecture and identify technical risks.
- Strong mentoring, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Broad technical expertise across cloud engineering, DevOps, and platform engineering, with particular depth in GCP and AWS.
- Strong perspective on engineering standards, quality, testing, automation, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
