Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor QA Engineers while promoting testing best practices and continuous improvement.
- Define and implement test strategies, test plans, and quality assurance processes across applications and releases.
- Drive test automation adoption, improve regression coverage, and optimize testing efficiency.
- Oversee functional, integration, performance, security, and user acceptance testing.
- Monitor quality metrics including defect leakage, test coverage, automation coverage, release readiness, and production stability.
- Manage defect triage, root cause analysis, and quality governance to reduce recurring issues.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Developers, and Operations teams to ensure requirements are testable.
- Support Agile delivery through sprint planning, backlog refinement, risk assessments, and release management.
Requirements
- Experience leading or mentoring QA Engineers and establishing quality standards and testing best practices.
- Experience defining test strategies, test plans, and quality assurance processes.
- Knowledge of test automation, regression testing, functional testing, integration testing, performance testing, security testing, and user acceptance testing.
- Ability to manage defect triage, root cause analysis, quality metrics, and release readiness activities.
- Ability to collaborate with product, analysis, development, and operations stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery practices and quality governance.
