Principal Architect - Test Automation

- Develop and maintain scalable automation test solutions for automotive software validation and verification.
- Build, enhance, and optimize reusable automation scripts and frameworks using Python.
- Develop REST API automation frameworks and execute automated validation for Android- and QNX-based automotive systems.
- Create CAPL scripts and use CANoe for ECU validation and simulation.
- Integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, reporting, and deployment.
- Analyze defects, troubleshoot automation failures, and improve framework reliability and performance.
- Mentor junior automation engineers and contribute to technical decisions.
- Participate in planning, sprint execution, estimation, and retrospectives.
Requirements
- 10–12 years of experience in automation testing or a related engineering role.
- Mandatory automotive domain experience with Android, QNX, and Linux environments.
- Strong Python development skills, including advanced Python concepts and libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.
- Strong experience with REST API testing and API automation using Python.
- Hands-on experience with CAPL scripting and the CANoe environment.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably Jenkins or GitLab.
- Proficiency with Robot Framework for automated testing.
- Experience with version-control systems such as Git and GitHub.
