Responsibilities
- Define and drive the enterprise IAM quality engineering and test automation strategy.
- Establish testing standards, frameworks, tools, governance models, quality gates, and release-readiness criteria across IAM programs.
- Lead testing for identity governance, access management, SSO, federation, MFA, PAM, directory services, APIs, workflows, integrations, and cloud services.
- Build scalable automated test frameworks using modern programming languages and enterprise automation platforms.
- Lead security validation covering authentication, authorization, privilege escalation, API security, and identity lifecycle processes.
- Establish performance, load, stress, scalability, and resilience testing strategies for IAM platforms.
- Partner with architecture teams on testability, scalability, resilience, and security requirements.
- Mentor and coach engineers on quality engineering, automation, and testing practices.
- Develop quality metrics, automation coverage, defect trends, and risk indicators for senior leadership.
- Serve as the escalation point for complex testing, integration, and production-quality challenges.
Requirements
- Requires 12+ years of experience in software quality engineering, test automation, or information security engineering.
- Requires 7+ years of experience supporting IAM technologies and identity lifecycle processes.
- Requires deep understanding of IGA, SSO, MFA, federation, SAML, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, LDAP, RBAC, and PAM concepts.
- Requires strong experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ and/or SailPoint Identity Security Cloud.
- Requires expertise building enterprise-scale test automation frameworks with Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Requires hands-on experience with Selenium, Rest Assured, Postman, Cucumber, JUnit, TestNG, Playwright, or equivalent frameworks.
- Requires experience implementing automated testing within Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab.
- Requires experience testing APIs, microservices, event-driven architectures, and cloud-native applications.
- Requires experience building performance and scalability testing frameworks with JMeter, Gatling, or LoadRunner.
- Requires strong understanding of security testing methodologies, cybersecurity controls, data validation, test data management, and synthetic data generation.
- Requires leadership, influencing, stakeholder management, executive communication, analytical, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience with financial-services regulatory and compliance requirements is preferred.
- CISSP, CISM, CIAM, SailPoint, CSQE, or Agile Testing certifications are highly desirable.
