Responsibilities
- Analyze client business and technical needs through requirements-gathering workshops and business-case development.
- Design innovative and robust solutions using Microsoft technologies and Databricks.
- Lead complex presales engagements, including response strategy, architecture vision, effort estimation, scope and risk tradeoffs, proposals, tenders, demonstrations, proofs of concept, and client presentations.
- Support commercial teams and coordinate technical responses with expert and delivery teams.
- Act as lead architect for clients and guide implementation by onshore and offshore delivery teams.
- Advise clients and stakeholders on complex Data & AI architecture decisions, including generative AI, AI agents, RAG, automation, security, and compliance.
- Mentor junior architects and Data & AI tech leads through technical coaching and knowledge sharing, without hierarchical management responsibility.
- Take ownership of strategic, complex, cross-functional topics and develop internal architecture, data, and AI communities.
- Represent Avanade with Microsoft and Databricks partners and the broader technology ecosystem.
Requirements
- Strong expertise in solution architecture across Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Azure AI Foundry, and Databricks.
- Knowledge of AI-agent and RAG architectures; LLMOps experience is appreciated but not required.
- Strong understanding of data transformation challenges and automation, integration, and development tools.
- Solid project management, delivery, and technical governance skills.
- Ability to defend strategic architecture recommendations to business and technical decision-makers.
- Senior consulting posture, autonomy, leadership, and ability to make technical, organizational, and business tradeoffs.
- Excellent communication, teaching, and technical simplification skills with a strong client-service orientation.
- Fluency in French and English in an international environment.
- Ability to mentor teams and lead architecture communities; prior hierarchical management is not required.
- Willingness to travel occasionally according to client mission needs.
