Responsibilities
- Build and improve tools for data accessibility across the company.
- Own end-to-end delivery of significant features in the event tracking and data platform.
- Extend safe access to data for various teams while managing governance.
- Act as a go-to expert for specific system components, providing technical guidance.
- Collaborate with teams to understand their data needs and translate them into features.
- Raise quality and testing standards, mentoring other engineers through code reviews.
Requirements
- Deep experience in building and operating backend services or data pipelines at scale.
- Familiarity with modern data warehouse/lakehouse platforms and event-driven pipelines.
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Focus on reliability and correctness of systems, considering edge cases and monitoring.
- Ability to collaborate across teams and mentor peers through code reviews.
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and turning loosely defined problems into concrete plans.
