Responsibilities
- Work directly with customers to understand critical problems and design and implement data-driven solutions.
- Own high-stakes projects from beginning to end with minimal supervision.
- Discuss architecture with engineers and work with massive-scale data.
- Build custom web applications and other technical solutions.
- Communicate with customer executives and establish strategy for the team.
- Collaborate with other Forward Deployed Engineers, product teams, Deployment Strategists, and customers, often on site.
Requirements
- Strong engineering background, preferably in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or Data Science.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities involving data structures, storage systems, infrastructure, front-end frameworks, and related technical tools.
- Programming proficiency in Python, Java, C++, TypeScript, JavaScript, or similar languages.
- Experience or interest in using large-scale data to solve business problems.
- Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams in a rapidly changing environment.
- Ability to learn continuously, work independently, and make decisions with minimal supervision.
- Ability to travel throughout Europe 70–90% of the time.
- NATO Security clearance or the ability to obtain a clearance.
- Fluency in English.
