Base Salary
$100k - $164k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI-assisted test generation, test automation, and validation solutions.
- Validate AI/ML outputs, analytics dashboards, predictions, query-based insights, and AI-ready datasets.
- Develop automated validation for ETL/ELT data pipelines, data ingestion, transformation, storage, schema consistency, completeness, and correctness.
- Design end-to-end test strategies spanning instrument software, CSV/JSON exports, cloud analytics, ELN/LIMS integrations, and AI/ML use cases.
- Validate interoperability across instruments, cloud platforms, ELNs, LIMS systems, and distributed systems.
- Integrate test automation into cloud-based CI/CD pipelines and implement test orchestration.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts, test plans, data sets, verification activities, and test domain systems.
- Verify fixes, review software requirements and technical documentation, and provide feedback on specifications and user manuals.
- Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and data outputs in accordance with Quality System and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent, with 6+ years of test automation experience or relevant experience and training.
- Python programming experience is required; SQL, APIs, React, Flask, and shell scripting are also specified.
- Experience with test automation tools such as TestComplete, Ranorex, or Squish and with UI/API testing and data validation.
- Experience with data platforms, cloud platforms, structured data formats, CI/CD pipelines, and automated schema and data-quality testing.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted testing, prompt-based validation, AI/ML output testing, and the impact of data quality on AI systems.
- Experience or understanding of ELN platforms, LIMS systems, scientific instrumentation software, laboratory workflows, and scientific data lifecycles.
- Strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving, organization, attention to detail, independent judgment, and ability to work collaboratively.
- Experience executing verification plans and developing creative, reliable, readable automated test solutions.
