Staff Security Engineer, Detection and Response

Base Salary
$200k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Stand up a detection pipeline across high-risk surfaces like AWS and Kubernetes.
- Build the incident response program end-to-end, including playbooks and escalation paths.
- Evaluate and integrate core detection and response tools.
- Develop internal tooling and automation to enhance response efficiency.
- Detect and respond to threats specific to clinical AI systems.
Requirements
- 5+ years in detection engineering, incident response, or related security engineering roles.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or Rust.
- Deep experience with AWS and its native security services.
- Experience in building or maturing a detection engineering program.
- Solid fundamentals in networking, infrastructure security, and identity/access management.
