Base Salary
$220k - $330k/yr
Responsibilities
- Incorporate secure design principles into cloud architecture.
- Develop isolation mechanisms in collaboration with product engineering.
- Review security-critical configuration changes and act as Codeowner.
- Audit existing cloud environments for vulnerabilities.
- Develop policies and procedures for secure cloud operations.
- Define infrastructure security architecture and multi-year roadmap.
- Establish reusable security patterns and standards.
- Mentor and develop other security engineers.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Security Engineering, Software Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.
- Demonstrated experience in writing high-quality software and building production-grade infrastructure.
- Strong fundamentals in networking, operating systems, and cryptographic protocols.
- In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes and common misconfigurations.
- Ability to find weaknesses in real-world cloud environments.
- Experience applying security best practices in cloud environments like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Track record of driving cross-functional security initiatives.
- Experience setting security standards at an organizational scale.
