Responsibilities
- Design and develop full-stack .NET solutions for EY’s tax technology practice.
- Develop and test applications through logical project life cycles.
- Estimate technical effort, define work breakdown structures, and assess solution-level risks.
- Monitor adherence to methodologies, tools, and KPIs.
- Communicate consistently with team members, peers, stakeholders, and client teams.
- Identify problems, evaluate solutions, and lead resolution where appropriate.
- Provide input into application development methodologies, standards, and leading practices.
- Provide supervision and direction to team members and staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience; BE, BTech, or MCA is also listed as required.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience.
- Full-stack web development experience with .NET and .NET Core.
- Experience with MVC, single-page applications, TypeScript, Angular or Vue, Web API, Entity Framework or ADO.NET, SQL commands, stored procedures, and database performance tuning.
- Strong technical skills in designing, developing, and implementing applications.
- Working knowledge of development methodologies and version control using Git or TFVC.
- Exposure to CI/CD, microservices, Azure, and third-party controls such as Telerik or Kendo UI.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, oral, and written communication skills.
- Tax or finance domain knowledge is preferred; a master’s degree and management experience are advantageous.
- Ability to work collaboratively, adapt to internal and client teams, and work with limited direction.
