Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable software systems and engineering platforms.
- Develop production-grade solutions using Go and TypeScript.
- Build internal tools, platforms, services, APIs, and infrastructure used by other engineers.
- Contribute to AI-native and agentic systems or the infrastructure supporting AI workloads.
- Use and evaluate AI-powered development tools to improve productivity, code quality, and problem-solving.
- Work with cloud technologies across Azure and/or AWS.
- Contribute to architecture, reliability, performance, engineering practices, and developer experience.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and technical stakeholders in a distributed team and communicate technical concepts clearly.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Golang and TypeScript.
- Experience solving complex engineering and architectural problems.
- Experience building tools, systems, services, or infrastructure that other engineers depend on.
- Comfort working in an AI-native development environment and hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as OpenAI Codex, Claude, or Cursor.
- Experience building AI-native, AI, or agentic systems, or infrastructure and platforms supporting AI workloads.
- Experience with Azure and/or AWS; experience with both is preferred.
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles, system design, scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with engineers and technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
- Fluent English.
- Currently based in Portugal or Brazil.
