Responsibilities
- Design and develop modern, responsive, interactive web applications using Angular.
- Own frontend features end-to-end from requirements analysis and technical design through implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers and cross-functional stakeholders to create intuitive user experiences.
- Contribute to frontend architecture, component libraries, state management, application standards, and micro-frontend architecture.
- Ensure quality through automated testing, code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and engineering best practices.
- Optimize application performance, accessibility, responsiveness, and maintainability.
- Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs and microservices-based solutions, including BFF patterns.
- Support production systems through monitoring, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
- Mentor other engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing and development standards.
- Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and collaborate across product, design, engineering, data, and business teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of professional frontend development experience.
- Strong commercial experience with Angular and complex enterprise-grade web applications.
- Experience integrating frontend applications with REST APIs and microservices.
- Expertise in Angular, including standalone components and Angular Signals.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and LESS or SCSS.
- Experience with reactive state management, component and design-system libraries, responsive design, frontend performance optimization, and lazy loading.
- Familiarity with component and unit testing frameworks including Jasmine/Karma, Jest, Spectator, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Familiarity with OAuth2/PKCE, OIDC, SAML, token management, AWS cloud-native delivery, and containerized deployments.
- Experience with frontend observability and analytics tools such as New Relic or Pendo.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, pull request workflows, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards, OWASP frontend security best practices, Web Components, Lit, micro-frontends, Module Federation, and modern build tooling.
- Strong collaboration, communication, problem-solving, and continuous-improvement skills, plus English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
