JPMorgan ChaseResponsibilities
- Develop and deliver customer-centric web application and SPA features as part of larger domain-owned initiatives.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve prioritized defects.
- Write high-quality, well-tested code and participate in code reviews.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams through discussions, guilds, pairing sessions, and meetings.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for new features and technical discoveries.
- Build product and technology knowledge for owned domain areas.
- Participate in Scrum ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Address accessibility, security, observability, and performance in owned applications and deliverables.
Requirements
- Proven experience building and maintaining customer-centric web applications and SPAs.
- Strong proficiency in React and its core principles.
- Solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS, JavaScript ES6, networking fundamentals, and browser developer tools.
- Experience with version control tools, preferably Git, and Docker.
- Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest or RTL.
- Understanding of build tools such as Webpack, Vite, or Parcel.
- Understanding of preprocessors and related technologies such as SASS, CSS Modules, and JavaScript compilation.
- Understanding of CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, time-management, and deadline-management skills.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Preferred: experience with Kubernetes, GraphQL, Node.js, React Native, Angular, Vue, Next.js, Gatsby, AWS, design systems, feature flagging or A/B testing, and financial-industry delivery.
- Preferred: familiarity with cloud platforms, GraphQL APIs, agile methodologies beyond Scrum, and current web and React trends.
