Responsibilities
- Assist with maintaining and troubleshooting cloud infrastructure.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Contribute to infrastructure as code using Terraform and GitOps approaches.
- Learn and apply container orchestration concepts with Kubernetes.
- Improve system observability through metrics, logging, and tracing.
- Implement and enhance monitoring solutions using the Prometheus stack and OpenTelemetry.
- Support deployment and release processes.
- Participate in the DevOps on-call rotation, approximately two shifts per month.
- Document procedures and technical solutions.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve application observability.
- Assist with scripting and automation using Python or Bash.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in IT, system administration, or a related technical role.
- Basic understanding of Linux operating systems, command line usage, networking concepts, and security practices.
- Familiarity with at least one cloud provider: AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Experience with containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of monitoring and observability concepts.
- Some experience with Python or Bash scripting.
- Understanding of Git and version control systems.
- Good communication, teamwork, learning, and problem-solving abilities.
- Preferred: experience with GitHub Actions or GitLab CI, Prometheus stack, log aggregation systems, OpenTelemetry, incident management processes, or relevant AWS, Azure, GCP, or Kubernetes certifications.
