Base Salary

$168k - $253k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, buildout, and deployment of scalable and robust APIs and backend systems.
  • Define the architectural roadmap and make critical decisions shaping the platform and product.
  • Drive projects through the full development lifecycle from conception to launch.
  • Collaborate with engineers, Product, Design, Account Management, and peer engineering teams to deliver integrated client solutions.
  • Build and improve a product used daily in thousands of grocery stores.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team growth.

Requirements

  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of software development experience.
  • Ability to lead projects with a high degree of autonomy.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to align technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Interest in working in a fast-paced, AI-native engineering organization and adopting evolving development tools.
  • Curiosity about complex systems, business domains, and dependencies beyond the team’s direct ownership.
