Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead backend data-plane architecture design for large-scale applications with an emphasis on reliability, scalability, and security.
- Design, develop, implement, and deploy features throughout the end-to-end software lifecycle.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, backend engineers, cross-functional teams, partners, and peers.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to code reviews and engineering excellence.
- Improve developer experience and monitor feature performance in production environments.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 1 year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
- At least 1 year designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- At least 1 year of object-oriented design experience.
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.

- The base salary range is $143,700.00-$194,400.00 annually in Seattle, Washington.
