Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, researchers, and engineers to design, build, and deliver AI-powered solutions.
- Architect and implement multi-component AI pipelines, retrieval-augmented generation systems, and custom multi-step AI agents.
- Integrate AI models into production software through APIs and scalable data pipelines.
- Adapt AI models and techniques for specialized legal, tax, risk, and compliance domains.
- Evaluate emerging AI techniques, conduct proofs of concept, and prototype new AI-driven features.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of MLOps and LLMOps practices.
- Implement testing frameworks and monitoring systems for AI model performance.
- Optimize AI systems for latency, resource usage, and operational performance.
- Ensure solutions follow ethical AI principles and security standards.
- Mentor junior engineers, facilitate technical discussions, and share expertise through company-wide forums.
- Analyze systems, recommend operational improvements, and support application feature enhancements through AI capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience, including at least 2 years focused on AI/ML.
- Proficiency in Python and experience with AI/ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Strong understanding of machine learning principles, evaluation, and system design.
- Knowledge of MLOps and the end-to-end lifecycle of AI-powered software applications.
- Experience integrating AI models into production systems using APIs and data pipelines.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and containerization tools such as Docker or Kubernetes.
- Experience with AI-driven systems, agent-based architectures, or AI APIs from providers such as OpenAI and Anthropic.
- Knowledge of vector databases, embeddings, or search-based AI.
- Domain knowledge in legal, tax, or accounting is valued.
- Portfolio demonstrating creativity and skill in building solutions with LLMs.
- Strong problem-solving, independent-work, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
