Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI-native product capabilities for AI Cost Management and IT Asset Management.
- Build scalable, reusable, high-quality software across UI, backend, and data layers.
- Own software through design, implementation, test automation, and delivery.
- Develop analytical capabilities for AI consumption visibility, cost attribution, budgeting, forecasting, spend controls, alerts, and vendor integrations.
- Build and operate distributed data pipelines for high-volume ingestion, transformation, and reconciliation.
- Design schemas, partitions, and queries and optimize performance for large-scale analytical workloads.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and quality engineers on product design, features, quality, and performance.
- Mentor peers and promote knowledge sharing and engineering excellence.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience delivering high-quality products.
- Experience integrating AI into work processes, decision-making, problem-solving, or automated workflows.
- Hands-on experience with columnar or analytical data stores, including schema design, partitioning, and query optimization.
- Experience building and operating distributed data pipelines for high-volume ingestion, transformation, and reconciliation.
- Experience creating dashboards and analytical reports.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or similar object-oriented languages.
- Experience with modern frontend frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of software quality principles including reliability, observability, and production readiness.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex systems and optimize performance across the stack.
- Experience with AI-powered tools or workflows, including dataset validation, model prediction validation, and inference consistency.
- Comfort with IDEs, debuggers, profilers, source control, and Unix-based systems.
