Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and REST APIs in Java or C#.
- Build integrations with relational databases, message queues, and third-party systems.
- Build, test, deploy, and promote services across environments using CI/CD pipelines.
- Debug production issues and contribute to observability, incident response, monitoring, alerting, and system reliability.
- Automate recurring operational tasks with Bash, scripting, and infrastructure tooling.
- Write maintainable, well-tested code, participate in peer reviews, and document technical procedures and runbooks.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Support front-end development and maintain functional, product-aligned interfaces.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Java or C#, object-oriented programming, and common design patterns.
- Experience with Spring or Spring Boot, or ASP.NET Core.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, release processes, environment troubleshooting, deployment tooling, multi-stage builds, and artifact promotion.
- Ability to manage Linux systems, including permissions, logs, service diagnostics, runtime configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Bash and scripting for automation, operational tasks, file manipulation, and maintenance workflows.
- Strong experience building, consuming, and troubleshooting REST APIs and service integrations.
- SQL proficiency, including writing and optimizing relational database queries.
- Experience with Maven, Gradle, NuGet, or equivalent build and dependency management tools.
- Proficiency with Git branch and pull-request workflows.
- Hands-on production operations experience, including debugging, log analysis, monitoring, alerting, and incident follow-up.
- Comfort working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Preferred experience includes Apache Airflow, AWS services, Ansible, Python, JavaScript/Node.js, Vue, React, and retail or e-commerce domains.
